Spirulina buns

For 8 buns

INGREDIENTS


  • 500g of flour
  • 25g of baker’s yeast
  • 10g of salt
  • 25g of sugar
  • 4 tbsp. spirulina soleilvie
  • 200ml lukewarm water
  • 75ml lukewarm milk
  • 1 whole egg
  • 30g soft butter
  • Seeds of your choice (sesame, poppy …)
  • milk for gilding


PREPARATION

  • In the bowl of the robot, pour the flour, salt, yeast and sugar then spirulina

  • Add water and warmed milk as well as the egg and knead for a few minutes.
  • When the dough starts to form a ball add the butter in pieces.
  • Knead again for a few minutes.
  • Make a ball then let rise for 1h30 to 2h until it doubles in volume by covering the bowl with a clean towel.

  • Once the time is up, knead quickly the dough.

  • Cut the dough into 8 equal parts (100g per ball approx.) And shape into a ball.

  • Lay down the buns on a plate spaced 5 cm apart and leave for 5 minutes.
  • Flatten them and let them inflate for 1h30 by covering them with a clean cloth.
  • Heat the oven to 200 ° C.
  • Brush the bread with milk and sprinkle with sesame seeds. or poppy seeds.

  • Cook for 15 minutes until the crust of bread is cooked.
  • Cool the buns on a rack.
