Creating homemade hummus is easy and fast, and you can make it taste any way you want by adding different ingredients for different flavors. Plus, you can add in an extra nutrition boost by adding in Hawaiian Spirulina. Once you make your own hummus, you'll never want to go back to store bought!

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

- 1 can chickpeas
- 2 tbsp tahini
- 2 tbsp Hawaiian Spirulina powder
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic
- salt & pepper to taste

Directions:

Drain chickpeas from can. Add all ingredients except spirulina into food processor. Pulse, then put on a high speed to blend. Add more olive oil if needed for a smoother consistency. Slowly add spirulina and mix until even.

Serve with chips, crackers, with veggies or on toast.
